Book early
Many places take Christmas bookings months ahead, and some stop taking new clients altogether over the peak.
Check the minimum stay
Peak periods often have a minimum number of nights, even if you're only away for a few days.

Get vaccinations sorted now
Most kennels need proof of C5 for dogs and F3 for cats, and some need the vaccination given at least two weeks before the stay.
Ask about drop-off times
Many places are closed or have short hours on Christmas Day and public holidays.
